Traditional Day and Fresher’s Day

 

On September 28, the BBA department of College of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University (SU), Pandeshwar organized its Traditional day and Fresher’s day on the college premises. Traditional day was the first ‘Special Day’ celebrated in college drawing huge participation from students of BBA Logistics and Supply chain management , BBA Honors, BBA Hospital Administration, BBA Public Administration, BBA Port Management, BBA USA CMA. Students were seen wearing their traditional outfits.  Dr. P. S. Aithal, Vice Chancellor Srinivas University, Prof. Keerthan Raj, Dean College of Management and Commerce, Prof. Nelson Pereira, Course coordinator BBA department, Dr. Sonia Noronha, Course Coordinator BBA Port Management, Prof. Vinutha H K and Prof. Souparnika, Cultural coordinators and Mr Omarul Farooq, Ms. Greeshma and Mr. Anirudh, Student Cultural Co-ordinators were present. The programme begins with an overwhelming prayer by Liya and her crew, followed by the lighting of the lamp. Prof. Keerthan Raj, Dean of the College of Management and Commerce, addressed the gathering. Ms Greeshma and her crew opened the cultural event with a welcoming dance. Various cultural events such as Solo dance, group dance, solo singing, group singing and fashion show were held. Students actively participated in all the events.

On the same day, the students of BBA Courses organised a Freshers’ Day. The purpose of the Freshers Day was to make every new student feel connected as an integral part of the BBA Family.  Cultural programmes followed thereby with various types of dance forms, songs and even Games were also conducted for the fresher’s. Finally, the programme came to a close, leaving behind lovely memories to be treasured for a lifetime. The occasion was graced by the presence of Course Coordinators and all faculty members.
